The Pearl Recording Studio was founded by brothers, Zachary and Noah Hollander, in the spring of 2010. The building that houses The Pearl is a three story brick building in the heart of the NE Minneapolis arts community. Built in 1926, it has seen many different businesses since its start. Over the last 30 years, the building has been used for recording studios and band practice spaces. Some of the best bands in Minneapolis' history have played shows, practiced, or recorded in the building. Bands such as Soul Asylum, The Jayhawks, Jeff Tweedy, The Bad Plus, Mason Jennings, and The Black Crowes have all been of part of the long running tradition of this historic music building.
Our main objective at The Pearl is to provide professional recordings with the highest quality of sound possible. We strive for excellence in everything we do and pay close attention to every detail, cutting corners on nothing. Dedication to our craft, and an acute eye for detail help make every recording a piece of art. Our goal is to see every artist satisfied with a project they are proud of.
Recording is our passion. We all love our jobs and have a great time here everyday.
