I’ve for years been specifically requesting and tracking down vintage 414eb’s when building out mic packages and when I finally discovered the Peluso P-414 it was too good to be true. Peluso nailed the classic sound while also boasting an incredible build quality, a true workhorse that’s extremely road worthy.

Anytime I’m doing a live recording I always place a pair of these x/y style center of the room. They never fail to give a great musical capture of the room.
I’ve also started using these as my go to overhead mics on drums. They give such a nice full picture of the kit. It’s a great base for me to build my drum sounds.

‘Howie’ Howard Lindeman

'Being born at the Record Plant recording studios NY in the early 70's then moving to The Hit Factory and RCA Recording Studios I've had the opportunity to use a multitude of microphones and pointing to the Neumann U47 which we all know, now we have the Peluso 22 47 SE.
It exceeded my expectations in every way in the digital recording domain.
As engineers we strive for excellence as we did during the analog days.
Now I have the opportunity to use the Peluso 22 47 SE in a live setting based on the Abbey Roads sessions and yes its outstanding.
My hats off to Peluso Microphones for an outstanding design which sounds the way it should, GREAT !!!!'
