An NOS (new old stock) 5654W vintage vacuum tube, microphone tested for signal and quiet, for replacement in the Peluso P-280 microphone.

The 5654W is the special quality version of the 6AK5 and is also known as the 6AK5W. It is an wideband RF amplifier pentode for VHF and above. The rugged construction is to allow the valve to operate in situations of vibration and knocks and the W suffix denotes this quality.
