The Peluso Community
Our community of artists, engineers, studios and friends have been busy putting our microphones through their paces. We are proud of all the great work they have done with Peluso microphones. Take some time to explore their stories!

For the 22 47 SE, I kind of cheated and put in NOS RCA tube, making it a 22 47 LE, in effect.
I am fortunate enough to have a small stockpile of these old tubes, and found that the microphone sounds great with either the factory Peluso tube or any number of NOS tubes.
The microphone performs fantastically on vocals, acoustic guitar, cello, saxophone, you name it. It has a rich and warm bottom that isn't hyped, and enough detail and character in the top end to completely avoid any unnecessary processing after the fact.

Steven Foxbury & Yellow Couch Studio | Management
"Man, this mic sniffs out so much incredible low-end magic. On the right voice, it's so, so great and it's also my favorite drum overhead."
-Steven Foxbury
Mark Capps
"The 22 47 SE captures the sound of vintage amplifiers perfectly"
Jeff Oehler & Beehive Productions
“The Peluso P-Stereo and SR-14 Stereo Ribbon are my go-to mics for recordings that require the depth and character of a live performance.”
Chad Brown
“Peluso microphones are top shelf microphones at any price. Of microphones in their price range, they are absolutely unrivaled.”
Will Sellenraad
"Thank you guys so much, these mics were the first step to recording at the house. I really didn’t think it was possible but, we can now make great sounding records here, what a blessing."
- Will Sellenraad
Gene Bowlen & BeARcade Productions
The P-28s are my go to mics for acoustic instruments and drum overheads although the P-84s may take over some of these roles.
Brandon Bostic
"The first time I heard a Peluso microphone, we used a pair of P-28's on my acoustic guitar when recording the album "Strange New World" for bluegrass artist, Blue Moon Rising. I fell in love with the way the P-28 captured all the detail and warmth of my guitar, so I went out and purchased a pair of my own. They have since become my go-to microphones for acoustic guitar, and any other application where I need perfect detail and tube warmth!"
-Brandon Bostic
David Arnold
'Peluso microphones were the ONLY microphones used on the John Hartford “Memories of John” live recordings. They were extremely essential to obtain the pure and natural sound of the stringband.'
Blue Highway
We recorded our last 4 albums with Jim Price at Maggard Studios and used entirely Peluso microphones'
-Blue Highway
Gene Elders
"Just finished my first session with the P-28. I am hooked, big time. That's far and away the best mic my fiddle has ever met. Brought the fader up and it took the engineer about 60 seconds to tell me he wanted one, too."
♦ We are still in the process of rebuilding our community pages. As we reach out to our friends we are looking to update these pages with their recent accomplishments. If you are a Peluso microphone user we'd love to include you here too, Some of our existing members have been using their Peluso mics for quite some time, check back soon as we continue to update their profiles. ♦
