“The Peluso P-Stereo and SR-14 Stereo Ribbon are my go-to mics for recordings that require the depth and character of a live performance.”
Danny Knicely
'I play high quality vintage acoustic instruments. It dawned on me that I should be playing into microphones of equal quality. I was very happy to find that some of the best mics on the market are made by Peluso right here in my home-state of Virginia. Since I've acquired the P-84, it has been my go-to mic for both mandolin and guitar. I was also very pleased to find that the P-84 reproduces an acoustic bass-fiddle most excellently. Until now, the bass has been one of the more difficult instruments to capture.
I've also made a couple recordings with a stereo pair of P-84s and am very pleased with the results. Performing live and in the studio has instantly become more satisfying with the use of these Peluso microphones.'

“Got the Peluso P-414 due to a fierce love of the 70s and looking for something to add to my arsenal ... Secret weapon on guitars and wurly."
Will Sellenraad
"Thank you guys so much, these mics were the first step to recording at the house. I really didn’t think it was possible but, we can now make great sounding records here, what a blessing."

"My Peluso 2247LE was used to record all of Ben Lee’s vocals and his acoustic guitar. Almost every song was based around a live take of him singing and playing at the same time and the 2247LE was positioned to capture this performance. Have a listen to the album: most songs begin with an intimate vocal and acoustic guitar with no effects. It’s a real showcase for the 22 47 LE microphone! "

The P-28s are my go to mics for acoustic instruments and drum overheads although the P-84s may take over some of these roles.

I have had a chance to record with the P-67 finally. Wow. I was sent one of the new Supro reissue amp to demo, and your mic is capturing it brilliantly. Pretty much anywhere I place the mic, it sounds great…yet every distance creates another character. It's great being able to really play with the room ambience mix in the guitar sound. It really captures the "real" aspect of an amp.
Thanks,
Steve Stevens

'I own and love my Peluso CEMC-6 stereo pair. I use them in my records on guitars, strings (as a mid mic on mid-side), brass, percussion, drum overheads, cymbals."

"I used to covet vintage microphones, but that all went away when I discovered Peluso microphones. My Peluso mics capture what I need in the demanding world of acoustic recording. John Peluso's expertise is of great value to me, and I treasure our friendship. And I treasure his mics."

Brian Tavener
'Crunchy. Soft. Abrasive. Silky. Rough. Smooth. Whatever the intention, the P-12 delivers. I was looking for a workhorse. A microphone to capture the nuances of a male bass and an angelic female soprano alike. A microphone to glue the drum sounds together in a room while also maintaining frequency identities. A microphone to color tracks in the spectrum of the past while also bathing the sound in a new myriad. The P-12 is that microphone. I was hoping that the beautiful custom packaging and Peluso's attention to detail in service would be equalled in their product. My hope became a reality after discovering the unlimited potential of the P-12. If you're looking for transparency with a splash of color, I would say this is your microphone.'

"Peluso Microphone's have been an essential part of our mic locker since the opening of my recording studio"
Brandon Bostic
"The first time I heard a Peluso microphone, we used a pair of P-28's on my acoustic guitar when recording the album "Strange New World" for bluegrass artist, Blue Moon Rising. I fell in love with the way the P-28 captured all the detail and warmth of my guitar, so I went out and purchased a pair of my own. They have since become my go-to microphones for acoustic guitar, and any other application where I need perfect detail and tube warmth!"
